Bamboo was once an essential material in everyday life, used in countless household tools. But due to its rapid growth and declining use, unmanaged bamboo now requires thinning. To harness its sustainable potential, bamboo is processed into charcoal and then further refined into powdered charcoal to enrich the soil by increasing microbial activity.
We had the opportunity to work on the branding of a factory dedicated to this form of environmental regeneration. In the brochure we created, we successfully communicated the simple yet powerful truth that our world is sustained by microorganisms.
The role of microorganisms in supporting life on Earth is immeasurable. From enriching soil and fermenting food to regulating the planet’s climate, they are deeply interconnected with both our daily lives and the global environment. This invisible life force sustains biodiversity and ecosystems, preserving the richness of nature across the planet.
かつては生活のあらゆる場面で活躍し、多くの生活用具として使われていた竹。その成長速度の早さから、利用されなくなった竹は間伐されています。このように持続可能性に優れた竹を活用し、炭に加工後、土壌の微生物を増やすための粉炭として利用しています。私たちはこの環境再生に貢献する工場のブランディングを手がけました。このパンフレットでは、世界が微生物によって成り立っていることをわかりやすく伝えることに成功しました。
